I only got to take a few photos before it started raining. We took cover and grabbed some umbrellas, and it really worked out!

The Ernst Family

Brooke Ernst and her family are all over my photography portfolio - and for good reason.  I've been best friends with Brooke for 5 years, therefore I am her entire extended family official photographer. My family is hers and vice-versa.

Her in-laws are missionaries living in Australia since I've known them, only able to come to the States every so often.  Their daughter Tori is off to college in sunny California, but before they dropped her off at this new and exciting chapter of her life, the whole family was together at once, for the first time in a long long time.  We decided we had just a short window to make some lasting memories by taking some family photos.

 

Shirley and Rick's Wedding

Shirley is a native Hawaiian, so naturally Rick suggested they go to Hawaii for their Wedding. Shirley wanted to stay at her home church in Lakeland, Florida. Their compromise? Bring Hawaii to Lakeland! Even the rings and leis were shipped from the Islands.

They were married in Shirley's home church (and place of employment) Victory Assembly of God.

 

We went to Hollis Gardens for a few Formal and Family photos.

 

Their reception was at the Terrace Hotel Ballroom, with a bit more of Hawaii.

 

At the end of the evening, Shirley's kids sat her down to give her a gift from all of them.
