The Ernst Family

Brooke Ernst and her family are all over my photography portfolio - and for good reason.  I've been best friends with Brooke for 5 years, therefore I am her entire extended family official photographer. My family is hers and vice-versa.

Her in-laws are missionaries living in Australia since I've known them, only able to come to the States every so often.  Their daughter Tori is off to college in sunny California, but before they dropped her off at this new and exciting chapter of her life, the whole family was together at once, for the first time in a long long time.  We decided we had just a short window to make some lasting memories by taking some family photos.

Mr. and Mrs. Reisin

The Torres family is practically family to me - Brooke's kids call me "Aunt Kerri" and I was head over heels when Mei-Lin Torres asked me to photograph her wedding to Eric Reisin.

What can possibly be said to prepare you for a Torres Wedding? Where the Torres family is, there will be food.  There is no end to the love.  Every family gathering ends up a bit like a talent show. That pretty much sums up this wedding.

Did I mention the entire wedding party is gorgeous?

The Wedding and Reception were held at SOHO Catering and Events in Hollywood, FL. The location is gorgeous - the Ceremony was outside at dusk, and we all moved inside for the reception.

We moved inside for a cocktail hour and reception. The entire place was blinged out, and the curtained walls changed color during different parts of the reception.

There was an abundance of toasts, some funny but all heartfelt. Marcus, Mei-Lin's brother sang his toast with a ukelele.

Did I mention the talent show? Gabby (Mei-Lin's sister) performed a beautiful ballet routine.

Brooke and Josh (Mei-Lin's cousin) sang, Marcus was on trombone, Mei-Lin was on flute, and Gabby was on the cowbell, and they all sang backup.

Here's the video of their performance:
