Foggy Morning Session with Megan
I've been dreaming of doing a photo session surrounded by thick, billowy fog, but something always got in the way - work, no model, etc. Foggy photo sessions are impossible to plan more than a day ahead, so when I saw the weather report, I immediately asked Megan if she was interested in getting up before dawn to make this happen. Of course, she enthusiastically agreed, and was ready to go!

The Chamieh Family
I was thrilled when I talked to a fellow artist about creating an unusual photo session. They only wanted one photo, inspired by the book "Mother," The Royal Tenenbaums, and Awkward Family Photos. We talked about props and outfits, staging and furniture. They arranged to purchase about 95% of what they didn't already have.
This is my element, telling a story through one simple image. But I couldn't just take one photo. I only took about 30 photos, though, and the setup took longer than the session did. I am completely ecstatic with the results.

Megan's Senior Photos - Rain
I admit, I photograph my stepdaughter quite a bit. She's gorgeous, creative, and I rarely get to hang out with her. We shot several sessions while Megan (pronounced Mee-gun) was with us for the summer.
Alas, it rained so much, all the beautiful ideas we had were delayed over and again. One day, I said screw it. I had been wanting to experiment in a rainy shoot, and Megan was willing, so we got a little wet. Then we got a lot wet.

Campbell Wedding Part 3 - The Reception
Mr. and Mrs. Campbell's Wedding Reception was filled with family, friends and FUN! I really loved all the details, from the sugar roses on the cake to the "guest book" (messages to the couple written on a stone) - But the best detail of this reception - the Gorgeous Bride and Handsome Groom!

Campbell Wedding Part 2 - The Ceremony
Hunter and Chelsea are the new Youth Pastors at Lake Gibson Church of the Nazarene, and to honor God before their family and friends, their lovely ceremony included foot-washing, communion, prayer, and Amazing Grace sung by everyone.

Campbell Wedding Part 1 - Getting Ready
After getting to know Chelsea and Hunter through meetings, and their engagement session, I was thrilled as the days grew closer to their pending nuptials. They are one of the sweetest couples I've had the privilege to photograph, and I just knew their wedding was going to be special. The Wedding was at Lake Gibson Church of the Nazarene in Lakeland.

The McCracken Family
The McCrackens are am energetic, funny, and entertaining bunch. I still smile when I think of all the fun we had during this photo session. Misty and I went to High School together (she was on the dance team, I was in band) and Dale's Uncle was my pastor, but I hadn't seen them in person in YEARS. It was so great catching up, and meeting their beautiful children. Dale and Misty are now Pastors at Davenport Church of God, so I really wanted to create a special family session for them, that embodied their lifestyle, love, personality, and sense of humor, (not to mention and obsession with Cinnamon Rolls).
Meet Breely - the youngest McCracken. She's 2 and full of energy and life!

This is Xander. I think at least 300 pictures are of him doing this like this. He's hilarious and has more personality and charisma in his little finger than most adults I know.
The oldest is Noah. He's soft spoken, but when he laughs, there's a sparkle in his eyes that tells me still waters run deep.
